50th Anniversary Dinner

A night to celebrate our history, remember past players and socialise. A large group attended the dinner at Victoria Park, with a rotating selection of candid shots to play spot the mug to, and shirts from years past to remember. We welcomed wives and partners to enjoy the night with our band of blokes.  A subdued Hoss (except for one joke) was the MC conducting the proceedings introducing Pres Paul Kelly for a keynote speech which hit the mark spot on for our club. Rob Barnes followed to present a history of the club and highlight our Life Members, past and present.  The best kept secret of the night was then revealed: Jim Batzloff, winner of the first game ever played by the club and longterm stalwart, multiple office bearer and self promoted "Best Putter in the Club" was deservedly named as our newest Life Member.
